1. Agreement to Terms
By requesting or receiving services from Hamilton Hoarding Pros, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service and to all applicable laws and regulations of the Province of Ontario and of Canada.
2. Services
Hamilton Hoarding Pros provides the following services, subject to assessment and availability:
- Hoarding cleanup and gross-filth remediation
- Crime, trauma, and suicide scene cleaning
- Undiscovered and delayed-discovery death scene cleaning
- Biohazard, animal waste, and syringe removal
- Water damage restoration and sewage backup cleanup
- Mould inspection and remediation
- Odour removal services
- Infection control and decontamination
- Estate clean-outs and pre-sale cleaning
- Specialty cleaning and Type 3 asbestos abatement
- Equipment rentals (ozone generators, air scrubbers, dehumidifiers)
Work is performed by certified technicians in accordance with applicable standards, including IICRC standards for water and mould remediation and Ontario regulations governing biohazardous and asbestos-containing materials.
3. Estimates, Pricing, and Payment
Pricing is project based and depends on severity, scope, materials affected, and disposal requirements. On-site estimates are free and provided without obligation. All amounts are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) and may be revised if conditions found during the work differ materially from those assessed. Any change in scope will be communicated before the additional work proceeds.
Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking. Where we bill an insurance carrier directly, the client remains responsible for deductibles and for any amounts the carrier declines to cover.
4. Insurance Claims
We can bill most carriers directly and will provide documentation to support your claim. We do not determine coverage, and we make no representation that any particular loss will be covered. Coverage decisions rest entirely with your insurer.
5. Access, Safety, and Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide safe and lawful access to the property and to disclose any known hazard, including asbestos-containing materials, structural damage, firearms, pets, or drug paraphernalia. You confirm that you are the owner, occupant, executor, or authorised agent entitled to instruct work on the property. Where a scene is subject to a police or coroner investigation, work begins only after the authorities release the property.
6. Scheduling and Cancellation
Emergency dispatch is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. For scheduled (non-emergency) work, cancellations should be made at least 24 hours before the appointment. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee covering crew mobilisation and equipment reservation.
7. Contents, Disposal, and Salvage
Items identified as contaminated beyond safe restoration may require disposal under law. We will identify these to you where practical before removal. Once you authorise disposal, items removed cannot be recovered. We are not responsible for undisclosed items of value left within material designated for disposal.
8. Equipment Rentals
Rented equipment remains the property of Hamilton Hoarding Pros. Renters are responsible for safe operation in accordance with the instructions provided, for damage or loss during the rental term, and for compliance with all safety warnings. Ozone generators must only be operated in unoccupied spaces.
9. Service Standard
We aim to complete every job to a verifiable standard, including post-remediation verification where applicable. If you are not satisfied with our work, contact us within seven days and we will review the scope with you and address deficiencies attributable to our work.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hamilton Hoarding Pros is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Hamilton Hoarding Pros and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to this website, and the "last updated" date above will reflect the revision.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
